At Akta, we’re passionate about creating a more diverse and inclusive industry. That’s why we’re making it easier for actors to access top-quality headshots and reels at fair, affordable prices.
Every actor’s Spotlight requires professional headshots and reels, but industry-standard pricing (often £1,500 to £3,000) puts this out of reach for many working-class or low-income performers. Our Pay-What-You-Can initiatives levels the playing field, making the industry fairer for all.
How does it work?
Applying for our PWYC initiatives is easy! Just follow the links below and complete a quick 2-minute form (don't worry, there's no invasive questions). If approved, we’ll send you a discount code to adjust the price to your requested amount at checkout.
While there’s a minimum price listed, we often accept lower offers. If you’d like to apply for an amount not shown, simply email us with your proposed price and a brief explanation.

PWYC sessions are identical to our standard packages. On the day, the photographer, director, or sound recordist won’t know whether you booked at full price or through our PWYC initiatives.
