AUDITION TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP-How does it work?
Ticket Types, please book one ticket per person, either the 1-2-1 OR the audience ticket.
1-2-1 tickets book you into the meeting and secure your personal time-slot with the expert
Audience tickets enable entry to the meeting as an observer only.
There are two ticket types, 1-2-1 or Audience. Use the 1-2-1 ticket to book entrance to the three hour workshop and your individual time-slot to perform live for the casting professional with individual feedback. The time-slots are usually 10 minutes but sometimes as much as 15 minutes. Alternatively we have 'audience' tickets so you can join the workshop as an observer only. Â You will not have to prepare in advance and you will not get the opportunity to book a time slot with individual personalised advice but there is much to learn from hearing advice given to others. Everyone with a ticket will be able to observe everyone's 1-2-1 sessions.
In-Advance
Having booked a 1-2-1 ticket you will be asked to send in your information, this includes a headshot and cv. This could be your spotlight link.
The expert chooses some sides for you. We send them over to you on booking, or one week before the workshop. Please prepare thoroughly.
Access to Workshop
We will send out the zoom link out the day before, or the morning of the workshop.
Running Order
We prepare a running order for the 1-2-1 time-slots from the tickets booked and send it out to participants a day or two before the workshop. Please plan to be in the workshop for the full 3 hours. The running order may be tweaked on the day. Please keep an eye out for messages, you will be updated of any changes.
The Workshop Itself
Akta founder Charlie Frances will host the workshop, guide the running order and keep track of timings to enable you to focus on being an actor.
