AKTA is making a short film, and we're looking to cast from our client base of talented actors!

OFF CAMERA (working title)

Charlie, an apprentice on a TV soap opera, is invited to ‘after-work drinks’ at an actor’s apartment, but his first glimpse behind the curtain reveals an uglier side of the industry.

Shooting in APRIL. 

 

Roles: 

Charlie (18), female/male, MUST look 18, an anxious apprentice who is ambitiously working their way into the TV world.

Aidan (30), male, a charismatic, charming TV soap star with an edge; underneath his confidence is ego, paranoia, and a serious drug problem.

Leo (30), male, charming, cool and can talk his way into any situation. The gift of the gab. 

John/Jenny (50), female/male, middle-aged but still thinks of themselves as one of the lads.  Blissfully unconcerned by social anxiety.
